STATE bags have been giving back to their community since 2009 when the founders, Scot and Jacq Tatelman, reached out to help kids become prepared for success. Their eye for style has led them to create countless bags that are stylish, and functional. They don’t just make backpacks, but pencil cases, and lunch bags of varying sizes. This month, they released their Back-to-School '18 collection.

What’s most impressive is their mission: #GiveBackPack. For every STATE Bag purchased, a bag is hand delivered to a local kid who needs one, packed with school supplies and everything they need to succeed in school. Coming from Brooklyn, these two entrepreneurs have seen kids rushing to school buses with nothing but trash bags to hold their supplies. It’s what inspired them to make STATE Bags in order to help underprivileged kids and their communities in anyway they can. STATE strives to help change kid’s perspectives on their lives and inspire them to help change their communities and make a difference.
