The Portuguese based company, Wolf & Rita has released a collection for the AW18 season that is inspired by Portuguese folklore and tradition. Folk N’ Roll is a collection of clothes inspired by the colors of the Caretos that appear every Carnival. They run through the streets dressed in yellow, red, black, and green suits made of wool quilts.

The clothing is then inspired by the women who wait for their return, wearing seven skirts for the seven waves, seven days of the week, seven virtues, and the seven colors of the rainbow. The characters and colors are captured in the clothing designs while being given a modern look.

The fabrics and designs are made to inspire kids to look at traditions through their own eyes. Different pieces come together to make up an outfit or be worn individually. There are clothes for young women and men as well. You can check out their collection here: Wolfandrita.com
