As kids start heading back to school, they might be experiencing harder math in a higher grade. I know from personal experience how hard it can be for kids to get a grasp on new complicated math formulas. Photomath is an app that can help students figure out math problems when they're having trouble with them. All you need to do is take a picture of the problem, and then it'll give the answer while showing you step by step how to solve it.
It has handwriting recognition and is able to solve a number of math problems. It can solve fraction, decimal, and other operational problems. It also solves algebra, calculus, and trigonometry problems. After getting the answer, you can go through each step for a detailed explanation on how to get to the answer. You can even edit the problem if the camera registered it wrong. For parents who want to help their kids with math without giving them a straight up answer, the app is a good guide as well. Needless to say, if I had this app when I was in school, it would've made my life a lot easier. You can download it on the App Store or on Google Play.
